HEADLAND, Ala. (WTVY) - The Headland Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for its inaugural “adult only” Sundown Cinema.

The event is next Saturday, June 19th at 7 p.m. at the Douglas Park ball fields.

The event will feature a good meal, and the movie “Weekend at Bernie’s.”

Tickets are still available and organizers say it will be great opportunity for adults and parents to mingle with others in the community.

“We’ll have everything there at the park for them to enjoy the movie. It is a sit-down dinner, so we’re going to have a great fajita bar by Rodeo’s Mexican Restaurant, and tables and chairs. It will be beautifully decorated. It really will be a great night out on the town,” said Adrienne Wilkins, Headland Chamber Director.

The chamber plans to have a winter Sundown Cinema as well.
