DALE COUNTY, Ala. (WTVY) - The body found off Dale County Road 20 has been identified as a Montgomery woman.

Dale County officials say the body found Thursday, June 3 was identified as 29-year-old Jenita Rose Maldonado of Montgomery. Maldonado’s remains were positively ID’d through the use of dental records by the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.

EARLIER: Unidentified female’s body found in Dale County, sheriff’s office says

The Dale County Sheriff’s Office says Maldonado has ties to the Wiregrass area and they believe she had been residing in the area.

Investigators do not believe foul play was involved but do want to know where Maldonado had been living in the past three weeks. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dale County Sheriff’s Office.
