DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -A Dale County chase Friday morning killed a woman and injured two men in what appears to be a domestic dispute that spiraled out of control.

After the victim became involved in an argument with her boyfriend, a second man picked up the woman in Ozark, Sheriff Wally Olson confirmed.

That’s when the chase began, traveling about 10 miles to Midland City where the wreck occurred, killing the woman.

Though a formal release is pending, Dale County Jail records show 30-year old Michael Smith has been booked Friday morning on Murder and Attempted Murder charges.

The identity of the victim has not been released. The two men received only minor injuries.
